Hola,

my name is Vanessa and i´m working for IES Campanillas. I want to tell you about our first week in Malaga. We arrived at 01. may. The 01. may is an official holiday in Malaga, but it was a sunday, so that the 2. may was free here.
First we went to our accommodation, it´s a traditional spanish house and the rooms are traditional spanish, too.
On Monday we went with our teachers through Malaga and they show us somes places, the fast way to the beach and where we can go to eat. In the evening we went to a nice tapas bar, it´s called pepa y pepe. In spain, the people order a lot of tapas and all eat from the others. So that it is very mixed.

Now I told you something about Malaga:

Malaga is a city and a municipality in the Autonomous Community of Andalusia, Spain. It is the second most populous city of Andalusia and the sixth largest in Spain. It lies on the Costa del Sol.
Málaga enjoys a subtropical climate.
History:
Málaga's history spans about 2,700 years and is one of the oldest cities in the world. It was founded by the Phoenicians as Malaka about 770 BC, from the 6th century BC in Ancient Carthage, from 218 BC - Roman Republic and later Roman Empire (as latin Malaca), after the fall of the empire of the 800 years under the domination of Arabs, from 1487 under the dominion of the Spaniards. The archaeological remains and monuments from the Phoenician, Roman, Arabian and Christian eras convert the historic center into an "Open Museum" displaying its rich history of more than 3,000 years.
